    In October 2010 I decided that it was time for a new driveway and garden at my property in Croydon, which resides in the Outer East of Melbourne with mt Dandenong ten minutes up the road. My neighborhood is quiet with plenty of native tress in the surrounding area.

    I had a specific vision for what I wanted to achieve at my property, with its many mature native tress and surrounding "bush" feeling at the back of the house. I wanted to retain the inviting and relaxing feel of the surrounding environment, and steer away from the structured concrete landscapes that I often saw used at properties around my neighborhood. I wanted something unique , something special - something that people would stop to look at as they walked past.

    I spent a great deal of time searching for someone who was "on the same page" as me, and shared in my ideas with regard to a natural driveway and landscaping design. After much searching I found Nick Florio from Australian Garden and Driveway Design

    Nick spent a great deal of time showing me his past design work and photos, and discussing the kind of things he aims to achieve with each of his landscaping and driveway designs for his clients. My initial conversations with Nick were very insightful and valuable. During our time discussing what I wanted, I found that we quite clearly shared in the same vision, which was to achieve a high-end, natural driveway and garden design that would make people just stop and say: "Wow!"

    Nick and his Team went to work on my property with enthusiasm, energy and respect. I was impressed beyond words when I saw the gardens and driveway take shape. I commented to Nick halfway through the project that "your work has surpassed even my own expectations" - which was high praise from someone like myself whom is a bit of a perfectionist. Nick replied: "You ain't seen nothing yet" - and he was right

    The final stages of my landscape and driveway design saw the completion of amazing built-up garden features with magnificent hand-picked rocks laid out in a way as though nature had intended it. Nick conceived a unique sleep and red-gum fence design at the front of my property which zig-zagged along the boundary and was framed by outstanding Colorado toppings and native plants. My driveway came up beautiful and as solid as a rock with AGDD's unique stabilised Colorado mixture with Lilydale toppings. The gardens out the front and back invite you to pull out a chair and just enjoy them with a drink in your hand - which is what every garden should be about.

    We left for Fiji on Tuesday and you started immediately Wednesday morning and completed the job that same night just before a very heavy and long rainfall.     It is now over 6 months since your company reconstructed our driveway and I thought you might be interested to know that it is still looks as if the work was done only yesterday.

    A couple of months after the driveway was laid, our granny flat was removed, and this of course involved heavy vehicles. Not only that, one of the vehicles managed to get bogged and a heavy duty towing vehicle was required. This had to be parked on the driveway to pull out the bogged vehicle and we were concerned as to how our lovely driveway would survive. We were more than pleased to see that no damage at all was done, not even the faintest indentation where the tow truck was parked. This of course was due...

    Prior to contracting you we had contacted several landscapers seeking quotes for various driveways and garden construction elements. Whilst some had been willing to undertake the resurfacing of the driveways, none had been willing to construct the garden works.
